Nathan will be a guest composer, soloist, and conductor at Moraine Valley Community College, hosted by Douglass Bratt. Several of Nathan's compositions will be featured, including Concerto for Vibraphone & Percussion Ensemble, Fever Dream (percussion quartet), Twitch (solo clarinet & percussion ensemble), Almost Beyond (percussion ensemble), Silencio (solo marimba), and Encantada (solo vibraphone).
Nathan will be a guest artist at the Missouri Western State University Percussion Festival, hosted by Dr. Josh Knight. He and Josh will perform the premiere of his duet AfterBurn for vibraphone & marimba. Other literature will include Nathan's percussion quintet Silent Canyons, marimba solo Silencio, and 1-2 vibraphone solos.
Nathan will be a guest artist at the Pennsylvania Day of Percussion at Millersville University, hosted by James Armstrong. He will perform his Concerto for Vibraphone & Percussion Ensemble, marimba solo Silencio, and vibraphone solo Encantada, and give a clinic on the anatomy of percussion composition.
Dr. Timothy Bonenfant and Trent Shuey of the ASU music faculty will perform Strange Dreams for clarinet & marimba on their recital of works for the combination. Other works include “Wind Songs One” by Walter Blanton, “Studies for Clarinet & Vibraphone” by Charles Ruggiero, “Prisms for Clarinet and Marimba” by Robert Kreutz, and “Corker” by Libby Larsen.
